Comparing pts between Linux machines and windows machines is a worthless exercise and just gets people made at how wrong it is. It shouldn't be about points. It shouldn't be about Windows vs. Linux vs. Mac vs. whatever. It should be about results. I don't even understand why any kind of point system is even used. If how they are awarded makes people mad than IMHO that's their problem and maybe they should find something else to to.

Joe, if you click on the "Valid" link for your WU and your wingman's WU, you will notice that he did more work then you. CEP2 WU have a max CPU time of 12 hrs, so after your system crunched for 12 hrs, it stop and said that is enough, no more CPU for you. I am guessing here, but your wingman did all 16 task while you only did 3.

Joe, your machine for CEP2 is 100% useful. From what I know, your WU will be used to verify your wingman's WU. Then harvard will take whichever WU that does more work. Uncompleted work will not be resend to others.
