hello,
----------------------------------------my computer is runing under windows7 64bits. i use boinc since near 1 year now. today i uninstall boinc to reinstall it and have the boinc screensaver. i think i made mistake when i uninstall it cause i just erase the boinc file , indeed i wont found boinc program in the windows uninstall repertory program. Now i ve download boinc on the official website world community grid, i click on the set up then the install is stopped and i can read a advertisement, "the wizard was interupted before BOINC could be completely installed. your system has not been modified. to complete installation at another time please run set up again. click finish to exit the wizard" how to do please? Click run again
then install it over again |

Restart then try again.

i ve restart my computer and i have the same result...
the aplication start the intallation, but stop at : "the data directory migration" stape. And that message appear: "the wizard was interupted before BOINC could be completely installed. your system has not been modified. to complete installation at another time please run set up again. click finish to exit the wizard" |

Hello chirac31,
If you install the World Community Grid download, it is not named BOINC when you uninstall it from the Control Panel. It is named World Community Grid. Try uninstalling World Community Grid before you reinstall. The install program creates a directory named BOINC in the hidden directory C:\ProgramData as well as the BOINC directory in C:\ProgramFiles (x86). Lawrence |

it s ok
i ve search and erase all world community grid keys and files and same to the boinc ' ones. i ve installed succesfully world community grid program, and it s running now thanks |
