Dan I've taken a few extra days off for the long Memorial Day weekend...enjoying them immensely; and not working on ANYTHING!

Not working on anything reduces the chance of total brain fry. Enjoy your time off Sport.

Seems that you are doing just fine little mermaid, that Arizona flag is a mighty good find. I did not see that one, did you create that one yourself by chance?

Oh, no.
The link you gave me was: http://1000smilies.com/site I found that a little clumsy to work with, clicked at the top banner and got: http://www.emofaces.com/free-stuff/emails?source=1000smilies.com That I shaved down to: http://www.emofaces.com - and there the fun began somehow I clicked my way to: http://www.emofaces.com/smilies where a lot is put up for a vote. Here I found the Colorado flag to wave at USAFA 82, and I found the Arizona one for you. There is a search field, but you can also start out on a hike/trek of your own. As I didn't find any copy-and-paste link on these, I simply díd a work-around: left click/properties/copy the http//.... - not the easiest exercise in the world but doable. If you can think of something easier, please let me know, Dan Holtz ![]() This one I found by writing: "Denmark flag waving" in the search field and then I did the above copy-and-paste-properties routine: ![]() |

I have been neglecting the forum, dropped all the way back to page 2. This should put us back in the right place on page 1. How's everyone doing?

Dan Holtz, long time, no see
Do you fight the Wallow Fire? How are conditions where you are (home and work)? - have enjoyed The Thunderbirds today (he US Air Force show team). They arrived on their stopover between Italy and Finland with some stomach poisoning from Italy and were unable to take to the air yesterday. They did make up for it today, flying low and fast and loud. Loved it. We also saw an airdrop by our newest Danish C130J (love that big one as I like Peterbilts), a show by our trainer Baby Blues plus one Danish F16 (most are deployed to Sicily, Italy, for bombing Libya) shooting flares - from low down to 10 km altitude in no time. It was a good day. ![]() Do you reckognize this smiley, Dan Holtz? |

Not fighting the Wallow fire although we have some of our cities firefighters working the fire. (Apache Junction firefighters)
Temperatures are now in the 40-43C (105-110 range with summer almost here. We will see a few 44C+ (112+) days before summer ends I am sure. At work I get to watch the F-16's and other aircraft fly every day. They do not fly the extreme way the Thunderbirds do over the airfield here but they do work on being fast and loud. We have C-130's fly in at night so I get to see those also. I am glad you got to see the air show. Sounds like you enjoyed your day. I have heard the Baby Blues are a fun team to watch. The trainer aircraft may be slower but they sure can cut tight turns. I Like the Blues Brother smiley. Found the pair. ![]() Here is one from a show I like to watch from your side of the pond. ![]() |
