confused bright screensaver

great idea here! glad to be a part of it. however, i wish the screensaver were smaller and darker. it's a pain in the butt to leave it run overnight, what with the bright light. anyone else have the problem? mines where i can't do anything other than shutdown.

Re: bright screensaver

Hi,

you can always run the program without any screensaver at all. Just select "Blank screen" as your screensaver or simply let windows turn off the screen after a few minutes.

Re: bright screensaver

Turn off your monitor, or turn down the monitor contrast if you really must leave it on.

Turning off the monitor completely is a little better since it reduces energy waste.

(And ideally you shouldn't be leaving your PC on just for the benefit of WCG if you would not have had left it on anyways for other reasons. The goal is to use "idle" cycles that would normally have been wasted.)
