just a note to explain what will be evident after the stats post tonight.
----------------------------------------this year (if i remember right) our goal was 150 million points. we blew past that. i'm quite proud of everyone who stepped up this year. it has been amazing to see and be part of. it is only because we have passed our goal that I am comfortable taking the next few months off and helping another team. my brothers and sisters in the US Air Force have noticed a rather large discrepancy between their contribution and the contribution the US Navy has made to the effort. That the Navy is putting out great numbers is wonderful, but I can't let my fellow airmen be embarrassed. For the next couple of months I am going to be crunching with the U.S. Air Force team (until we can correct the problem). I hope you can understand. But have no fear. As Arnold would say, "I'll be back" We have to get at least 200 million next year, i think a more reasonable goal would be around 225. I am looking forward to being part of this goal busting group next year. In Memory of Dave Bell |

sorry Keith.. was sick last night.. will start helping you today.. :) Hope everyone else is doing well..! Dr. Mike.. Not a problem. With you dealing with sick kids day in and day out, I would expect you to be sick pretty regularly. Even with all the hand washing and more that I'm sure goes on, you have to get exposed to a lot of bugs. Staying well in those conditions had to be quite an accomplishment. This is not the best time of year either. My wife has been seeing lots of respiratory cases like pneumonia and emphazema lately. Now flu season is starting to hit too. With the economy like it has been, the ERs are really getting slammed hard with all the unemployed and now uninsured. The whole medical field is attracting more folks because of the short supply of staff but it's a heck of a way to get some job security. Hats off to you man! |
