Well Dave, today is now tomorrow (or tomorrow is now today), and we still do not seem to have CEP2 for Windows. Maybe someone will see this and update us on the status.

Even though I'm running a Windows box and have the CEP2 project selected, I'm now NOT getting the following line...

Nope. That has always been for Windows if CEP2 was selected in a profile, once you're passed not getting the bandwidth alert.
----------------------------------------Just 2/5th of the current beta, v 6.35 has been returned and there's still reports by those driving the 2CV of computers that jobs still fail (just kidding, but life-cycles of computers have their limit for this type of very demanding computing). They'll probably have to opt out once the error rate drops below 5% for the test as that is a production go criterion.

Sorry Sekerob, perhaps you misunderstood my post. Before today, I was getting the following 3 lines for just having CEP2 selected on a Windows machine

Ah yes, missed the capital NOT :D
----------------------------------------Might be because the Beta and CEP2 feeder are interconnected in this exceptional case. Reading the post by aspuru of CEP2 (new on this forum), http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ead,30245_offset,0#302056 think there's not only application validation hurdles to pass before the gates are opened.

Hello gb009761,
Does this mean we're on the brink of a widespread launch of CEP2 - perhaps after the DB work the techs have scheduled for today? I do not know what is planned, but the posts in the BETA forum say that the program for Windows has been validated. The recent Beta run was to test the server software and make sure that it works. ----------------------------------------Guess you refer to this: Additional work units have been added to this BETA. The initial 1000 work units are properly working and we would like to test an additional 5000 through. This test will also be testing a new upload server for CEP2. Thanks, -Uplinger And now the WUs appear bad on the download server :(
