Looks like the point in the name is the difference... yes, exactly the same ;>)

Larry and larry, to move the device to the name under which you post, you'd need to detach in the projects tab from WCG and reconnect via the tools menu "attach to project or account" option to Larry W. Ashbury.

My username is Kevin Carpenter

I have BOINC installed on three machines that run 24/7.
But when I log on to the website to check my status, it shows only one device: "Dimension4600". the other two do not show up. they are busily crunching away...

What do you think is going on?

Hello Kevin Carpenter,
I think that you are running 2 computers on a different account.

Open up BOINC Manager in the Advanced View and select the Projects tab. You might have to expand the data fields to read all the information. Look at the Account that each computer is attached to. I will bet that they are not identical. Look for changes in blank spaces or capital letters, etc. They must be absolutely identical.

If that does not solve the mystery, include the start of the Messages tab for each computer on your next post.

All I could find is a Kevin N. Carpenter, but that's probably not your another account, as it has over 40 device installations.

So yeah, as per Lawrence, we definitely need more info smile
