I know this thread says [resolved] but my last wu was due in a little less than 6 & 1/2 days and longer in running duration, so I chose "no new tasks" until this AM, when my current task is nearly finished. (I'm not online 24/7, so I didn't want it to be late...)
To my surprise when BOINC fetched me a new task, it is back to 10 days ETA. Hi,
----------------------------------------That's fine. WCG actually uses a formula to extend the deadline if the relative computing time is much longer than the mean. For instance the project average is 2.6 hours. If your computer needs much longer a multiplier is applied. Hope this helps to return the comfort feeling. Happy crunching.
