Has the standard report deadline for HCC just changed from 10 to 7 days?

The FAQ will be updated of course if the deadline is changed permanently for this science or all. Could be some batches that the techs like to complete faster. All work received here this morning of HFCC, FAAH, CEP2 and C4CW show 10 days. There's a couple of repairs in there with 4 days.

Mine are also 10 days but that is way longer than required.
----------------------------------------I cannot imagine needing more than a week.

----------------------------------------to you 10 days or 7 days or 4 days is enough, to others who crunch part time, maybe just an hour a day on a p3 or p4 that time is needed to allow these members to contribute. For the moment it only looks to have been set for HCC, permanent or temporary. We'll have to hear from the techs what the background is... who know a way to get 200,000 results per day times 3 days coming off the servers somewhat earlier. It's still the average shortest running science at 2.6 hours.** cheers edit: ** per task edit2: See reply by seippel. Indeed to size down the total storage use.

The deadline for HCC has been changed from 10 days to 7 days in order to speed the turnaround of batches for this project and recover additional disk space. We will update the FAQ to include the new deadline shortly.
