Solar Cells Thinner Than Wavelengths of Light Hold Huge Power Potential

This Science Daily article, on research being done at Stanford University in the US, explains the enormous potential efficiency gains (up to 10X) from solar cells made of thin organic polymer that is much cheaper than silicon.

It is another good illustration of what "The Clean Energy Project" crunching could mean for the future of solar energy production by helping find the best paths to making the cheapest and most efficient new solar cells.

Thanks a bunch for the link.
