Hi verret,

looks like you found the new stumper on client version 6.10.58. Plz visit this FAQ and note the red A item in the screenshot of the Local Preferences. You can safely up this to a very high percent or set it to zero to deactivate this function.

When you leave it active, then visit the Disk and Memory Usage tab or web preference field "Leave Application in Memory when preempted/suspended" or you'll be seeing little progress on computing.
