I'm trying to change my profile...to remove a non-working email address. But I'm getting an error because it doesn't like my member name, Forté.

Hi,
----------------------------------------Since a little while some special characters such as é are not allowed anymore in member names. To be sure I tried it on my own and got: Error * Member Name contains invalid characters. Please try again. Your action has resulted in an error Not sure but think it's maybe something to do with BOINC world wide rules that WCG started to comply to. At any rate, when changing an account you then stumble on that problem. Similar, in past one could have multiple accounts with the same email address, but no longer. When then changing one, suddenly that no-duplication rule kicks in. That's for sure a BOINC worldwide rule to ensure unique CPID generation and proper x-project account roll-ups. Sorry
WCG
