Silver & Diamond look too close, could the figures (5, 10, 20 etc) on the Diamond be made a more contrasting colour which makes them stand out from the silver globe? ![]() ....a more obvious solution could be to have a 'diamond' shape instead of a globe! ![]() |

Thanks all. I'm glad you like the new design.
----------------------------------------The comment of Scribe is not so silly. I did struggle a bit with silver vs diamond. The big difference between them is of course the number indicating the years in the diamond globe. I hope the diamond badge representation at the bottom of the signatures is self explanatory enough. I figured combining the diamond with the colors we all know would set them apart nicely. So diamond+bronze = 5Y, diamond+silver = 10Y, diamond+gold = 20Y, diamond+ruby = 50Y and diamond+emerald = 100Y. The badge indicators on the far right on the ranking page is still an open issue, as is the new WCG logo on the signatures. I know some of you liked the old logo better, but sooner or later it has to go. Now who wants to be the first with a 50Y-diamond globe??? The race is on! ![]() edit: I just calculated it will take me 271 years at current pace. I'm sure someone will beat me to it... Thanks again. ......now we discover it is NOT Diamond but Platinum, spelt Platnum! In this news it's called Diamond. So IMHO 'Platinum' seems to be an artefact of an earlier idea how to call these new badges.Just hover your mouse over one of them! ![]() Ask not what the world can do for you - ask what you can do for the world.
