Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I have not seen any DDDT2 WU's since 07 Jan 2011, this is the only WCG project I am currently open to and I have beta testing checked so either I have some setting that is off somewhere or I just didn't hit the lottery this time.
The message I get is:
Message from server: No work sent
Message from server: No work is available for DDD-T-Phase 2
Message from server: No work is available for DDD-T-Phase 2 (Type A)
Message from server: No work available for the applications you have selected. Please check your settings on the website.

My computer for WCG is:

Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
Memory: 8 GB
Bus Speed: 1.6 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MP31.006C.B05
SMC Version (system): 1.25f4

If I need to change something in my settings please advise.

My 2 cents worth,
Currently, there do not seem to be any wu's forthcoming. Try again when the big honkin' flood starts. Everyone should be gettig their fill then.

Basically watch this thread like a hawk. When people say they are getting work units that's when I uncheck everything except this project. This is the only way I have been able to get any work units. When I woke this morning my queues were dry so I checked another project. Also set your cache setting when working on other projects to "0.01 days" or something close. This way when the flood does come you won't need to wait long for the other project work unit to finish. peace

I should have figured that out. Thanks I will do that now.

I have had everything unchecked but DDDT2 all day. Since I wanted to see if any new DDDT2 work was being requested, I went to the messages to see what had been requested and I am seeing a day's worth of the following messages. I did not change the size of the queue as all I wanted to do was to receive WUs and I have not yet received any for any machine.
1/15/2011 5:26:26 PM|World Community Grid|Message from server: No work sent
1/15/2011 5:26:26 PM|World Community Grid|Message from server: No work is available for Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together - Phase 2

This is not a problem for me since I have several days of CEP2 work in the queues.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I've had a little netbook set for days now on nothing but DDDT2, haven't picked up a thing. If it does manage to snag something, I'll get the other machines out there fishing. It's a pity, thought I would hit gold last time around, but only made it to 89:09, with 1.28 more hours left in PV.

Mr. Community Advisor just had a repair job... after the original duo could not agree on who's right...

and they'll know in a few hours, having pushed the task ahead in that No-DDDT2 queue of 1.2 days:

Whilst, my No-DDDT2 PV jail is populated with 141 hours of results needing wingmen ... oh brothers, where art thou ;0)
