The loss of points due to Pending Validation was my fault. I missed a step when canceling out the work units. Unfortunately there is no way to recover the points lost. Again, I am sorry and hope you accept my apology. -Uplinger No problem, points are just for fun anyway. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by I need a bath at Dec 10, 2010 6:15:25 PM] |

I would expect loss of points would also mean mean loss of computing which may have an effect on some crunchers. I this is true, I think we need to keep any loss of computing time to a minimum. This has not been a problem with my processing. Thanks uplinger for letting us know.

Uplinger,
From someone who is still crunching for their bronze badge, I forgive you. The only people who don't make mistakes are the people who don't do anything. |

We have cleared out all of the work units on the grid. The researchers have provided us with some new work that should properly run on the grid. We will be doing a few extra steps to make sure we don't have this trouble again. 1. We are going to test a few work units on the back end first. 2. Only send out minimal amount of the work units to members to make sure there isn't a widespread issue. 3. Release the flood gates so that all can get work. Thanks, Seippel how are we doing on our to-do list? ![]() |

Nothing yet, we are still working on step 1 from what Seippel listed above. It may be Monday or next week when we reach step 3. Thank you for your patience, -Uplinger This is great news. I have been away in SF for some holiday events. I didn't know the skies were cloudy. Unfortunately, I have no empty buckets now. I must see what I can do to rectify that. ![]() ![]() |

Thanks, Seippel how are we doing on our to-do list? Step 2 should begin in the next few hours for ts01/ts02 typeB's. The pe/se work units I tested on the backend all completed successfully, so hopefully we'll have better success this time around. There are some ts05/typeC's that still need to be tested on the back end first before we are ready to move onto step 2 for those. Seippel |
