Graphics don't work

Wu's are fast on linux but the graphics don't work.No graphics window pops up after clicking "show graphics" in BOINC manager.

Also why there is zero redundancy on linux but not on Windows?

Windows has Wingman but linux doesn't

Re: Graphics don't work

Opposed to the Beta where I could not even get a Window to appear, the production one looks great and informative.

On wingman, expect there to be the same random and periodic checks of devices with an Inconclusive or up front Pending Validation state. (My window WU are ZR)

Re: Graphics don't work

Falconet,

I am going to try to get one on my local linux box. What Linux version are you running?

Also, Windows is single copy. There is the occasional check that causes 2 copies to be sent out.

Re: Graphics don't work

Sorry, that was Windows. No on Linux 10.04.1 LTS same as in Beta, no window shows, but the parallel CEP2 and DDDT2 do work.

Graphics status report:
- Ubuntu 10.04 + BOINC 6.10.17: No graphics window at all
- XP SP3 + WCG BOINC 6.10.57: Complete frame, but only one forth of the pipe occupying all the graphics space
- Win 7 + WCG BOINC 6.10.57: Full pipe showing nicely, but truncated frame.
Missing half of the tile line at the top and the whole information line at the bottom.
This is in an EeePC (1024x600) with a maximized window.

Re: Graphics don't work

Looking into this now. I have been able to reproduce the issue on linux. Easier to fix this way.

We have discovered the issue and will be updating the code for Linux only. Thank you for your patience.
