Re: Trapped Miners in Chile

Mission accomplished. Congratulations to Chile and to all those who did not spare anything to have this operation a major success applause applause applause
It was a very emotional instant for me praying as I followed the progress from the start of the drilling two months ago, even if I was on the other side of the globe.
We can thank the technology (television, satellite transmission) that made this big disaster become a major success. It is a win-win-win-win event. Win for the 33 miners, Win for Chile and it's image in the world, Win for the chilean govt., and Win for the drilling industry.

The space-time capsule finally landed. It did not come from outer space but from under earth after a space time jump of 3.7 GSM or GigaSecondMeters (space time jump unit biggrin ).
Whatever the direction for the 33 miners, they have landed on a new planet for them. A new life on an a different planet is waiting for them. For some it will be a much better life than they had before the space-time jump, for others it may become a nightmare.
My best wishes for a happy new life and good luck to all of them as they will really need a lot of it. peace

Re: Trapped Miners in Chile

The rescue was very impressive and lifted the status of Chile in the eyes of the world. Chile has come a long way since breaking the stranglehold of repression. With such competent and well liked leadership Chile has gained much respect and should have a good future. Hopefully the competence shown by the politicians will continue and the remaining mining problems will be overcome.
Good luck,
