I'm back - this is still the best team on WGC and I missed you guys. Please forgive me for being a jerk. I'll keep my opinions to myself from now on. Chris 1) I said you'd be welcome back anytime and I meant it! 2) You are not a jerk 3) Thus you have nothing to apologize for 4) I had no problem with anyone expressing their opinion. My problem was with how they treated others' opinions. Same goes for Rej, Jonathan and DM! Thanks, everyone. It's good to be back! ![]()

I hope everyone is doing well. Sometime in September, we should pass our total production for all of 2009. With another 235 points to our daily average, we'll hit the 176 million year pace. I guess we're on the downside of the summer heat up here in the northern hemisphere.
---------------------------------------- Elpe continues to flirt with the one million MOT point mark. Stay tuned for the eventual celebration! It looks like Daeloan would be next in line after that. I hope thing are okay for them. Hopefully, we'll hear from them at some point. I know they've stopped by here. Judson, you said something about a problem with your main cruncher not long ago. Did you get that worked out? Barney, haven't heard from you in a good while. What's up on your side of the pond? Thanks for hanging in there! Dr. Mike, have you been swamped with kids needing back to school check ups? You enjoying the new place I take? Mushball, good to see you stopping by! Gerald, there's been plenty in the press about the rally. Did you end up having to walk all that distance? Parmesian, good to hear from you. You've been a tad quieter. One of those more reflective moods perhaps? Dave, you've exceeded your "curfew". Your "mother" is worried and hopes you're okay. Marc, good luck. I know that magical date is getting closer. We'd love to hear from more of our members, especially those of you outside the US. |

I am going to Washington for the Glenn Beck event on 8/28.The little County i live in is sending three buses full.I have never been to the Lincoln Memorial before so it should be fun.But so many are coming the bus we are on will have to stop three and a half miles from it so it will be a long walk-- Too bad the buses won't drop you off at the Franconia Metro rail station. You could take the Blue line right to the Smithsonian station and come out right on the east side of the Washington Monument. Going west from there is the WWII Memorial, Reflecting Pool (the waterfowl there LOVE goldfish - the crackers that is) and the Lincoln Memorial. Not a long walk at all - about four blocks worth. Also, you have the Vietnam and Korean memorials on the sides of the Reflecting Pool too. They said we have to get off at Pentagon City--The last time the metro was shut down due to to many people--But if we can we will ![]() I so wish I could have attended this rally. I got up early on Saturday and watched the facebook stream, but with 171,000 other people watching it, the stream was not too stable. That was an awesome event and am very jealous of those that attended!
