Strange - one machine got a work unit on 24th June, completed it on 2nd July but the second copy is still marked 'Waiting to be sent'. There's nothing special about the machine, it's just a dual-core Vista laptop.

What do you mean by marked 'Waiting to be sent'? I have had a number of tasks waiting to be marked valid (there was nothing to say they shouldn't be) and I have had others ready to upload or ready to report.
- For those ready to upload, they were hung due to a problem with the internet connection which I corrected and the results did upload. - For those ready to report, I went to the projects tab and did an update to get the report done. |

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the information on the "Result Status" Page in WCG website, not in his BOINC client.

What do you mean by marked 'Waiting to be sent'? When you look at the quorum details of a WU (by clicking on its name in your Result Status pages) it may happen that one copy is marked "Waiting to be sent" when the server has not been able to send it to another client yet, or sometimes when the techs have paused this WU for any reason.---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by JmBoullier at Jul 22, 2010 2:34:04 AM] |

I also have a HCMD WU that has been stuck in PV land for over a month. It was returned over a month ago and it is still waiting for a second copy to be sent out.
----------------------------------------Created: 6/23/10 The server has had plenty of time to send to another client. Please explain further pausing by the technical staff. Surely any issues would have been resolved by now. Perhaps it has been forgotten.Name: CMD2_0587-UGPA2A.clustersOccur-1RXS_C.clustersOccur_10_98438_100660 Minimum Quorum: 2 Replication: 2 CMD2_ 0587-UGPA2A.clustersOccur-1RXS_ C.clustersOccur_ 10_ 98438_ 100660_ 1-- 614 Pending Validation 6/24/10 20:52:45 6/25/10 03:18:29 3.25 Cheers ![]() ![]() |

We have fixed this now. We had an slight error when we launched CEP2 and HCMD2 had some workunits assigned to the wrong 'homogeneous redundancy class'. We fixed the problem manually and thought we had caught all of them but it turn out there were 20 that were missed. We have fixed these last 20 now and you should see the result sent out shortly.
