confused Odd points allocation?

Result Name App Version Number Status Sent Time Time Due /
Return Time CPU Time (hours) Claimed/ Granted BOINC Credit
E200053_ 206_ A.18.C13H10N2S2Si.4.3.set1d06_ 1-- 619 Valid 7/1/10 20:17:15 7/2/10 16:37:15 2.59 41.8 / 29.5 <- me
E200053_ 206_ A.18.C13H10N2S2Si.4.3.set1d06_ 0-- 619 Valid 7/1/10 20:13:31 7/1/10 23:32:20 2.37 34.3 / 59.0

This is odd. My wingman and I were not granted the same credit for the same WU, and the two granted credits are not even inside the range of claimed credit. Is anyone else seeing this sort of thing with CEP2? It's unimportant as long as the scientific results are right, but it's wierd.

Re: Odd points allocation?

I saw it too. In my case, as in yours, I got half the credits granted to my wingman. crying
Luckily it seems to happen on few occasions.

Re: Odd points allocation?

Completely flippin bunco (It's a dice game), according logs both tasks ran full 16 tasks:

E200073_ 110_ A.18.C14H9NSSeSi.73.3.set1d06_ 1-- 619 Valid 2-7-10 02:08:04 3-7-10 07:44:31 4.02 96.9 / 56.5 < mine :(
E200073_ 110_ A.18.C14H9NSSeSi.73.3.set1d06_ 0-- 619 Valid 2-7-10 01:46:43 2-7-10 05:23:33 3.16 48.2 / 169.4 < Wingman in Heaven... (I'm near 100% sure it's a bad underclaimer which the algo is not dismissing correctly)

Edit: Not exactly a rare case:

E200070_ 250_ A.18.C14H9NOS2.16.1.set1d06_ 1-- 619 Valid 1-7-10 22:59:47 3-7-10 06:17:10 3.69 91.2 / 56.1 < Wat, is that all :(
E200070_ 250_ A.18.C14H9NOS2.16.1.set1d06_ 0-- 619 Valid 1-7-10 22:29:54 2-7-10 02:09:23 2.85 42.0 / 112.2 < more smiles from Ear to Ear

Edit2: Let's call it semi frequent:

E200027_ 277_ A.16.C10H6N4S2.3.1.set1d06_ 0-- 619 Valid 3-7-10 08:42:03 4-7-10 10:38:01 2.66 62.7 / 39.1 < Can't be happy about this :(
E200027_ 277_ A.16.C10H6N4S2.3.1.set1d06_ 1-- 619 Valid 3-7-10 08:31:18 3-7-10 11:54:51 2.21 31.1 / 78.3 < Praise her/his luck.

Total credit granted, 117, where 94 was asked for.

Edit3: Slowly my opinion is shifting to frequent:

E200027_ 300_ A.16.C10H8N4SSi.1.0.set1d06_ 1-- 619 Valid 7/3/10 08:43:11 7/4/10 15:48:27 2.66 63.6 / 39.1 < This dude seen in the mirror looks depressed.
E200027_ 300_ A.16.C10H8N4SSi.1.0.set1d06_ 0-- 619 Valid 7/3/10 08:41:13 7/3/10 12:26:47 2.09 29.1 / 78.2 < And this dudess/dude will be seeing a smile from ear to ear.

Total credit granted, 117, where 93 was asked for.
