If you had previous beta jobs of CEP2 and just running through this one could be bad. I have 4 A23's running presently and they're operating quite fine fine.
----------------------------------------1) Restart the machine and watch it for 1 CPU hour. If it does not reach 12.5% by then send it to bootcamp. 2) maybe though, something pauses the process which unloads the science and it resuming from last checkpoint. Set the BOINC Manager activity menu to Run Always and it might become clear. 3) Like to see your BOINC message log for good part where it stops/resumes. Zero status reports for instance? mind you,

Yes, another one caught by the new value trap in 6.10 which is default set to 25% (The WCG techs are assessing and may push for a higher default or put a higher one in the WCG device profiles when that is being upgraded). To disable set it to zero.
----------------------------------------CPU Time value 99% is pretty pointless... running 99 seconds, pausing 1. Set it to 100% as you wont notice the difference. When you're happy, please edit your OP post and insert [RESOLVED] into the title. PS, with local preference Leave Application in memory while pre-empted [LAIM], you wont see any much loss. Uplinger recommended this option be set due to the nature of this CEP2 application having far apart checkpoints.

PPS: I'm disconcerted btw over the science app unloading due this new 25% load feature and the surprise spun upon many upgraders.
