Doing the same thing for other projects so profile is set to CEP until I can get home and give it a kick in the box.

Get LogMeIn and you can securely log in from remote via any web browser and kick the box at 256 bit encryption. Booting usually fixes such issues
----------------------------------------6.6.38 has a serious time keeping bug btw and all releases since, only just now fixed in the 6.10.57 alpha client which can lead to dramatic overcaching of tasks, so stand by for an upgrade advice from WCG in the imminent future.

Using logmein now connected to the problem box from another home pc. Pretty neat! I don't know if I can use it from work as it installs a bit of software on the pc you connect from. Everything there is locked down I have the juice to install if I want to but Work machines get audited and I don't know if I can explain why I *need* to connect to a home pc meanwhile- Connected to another project and saw it immediately start running at high priority. Wondering why a 45 minute spinhenge task would do that, I looked at the clock, and the date was a month ahead at 29 June. I imagine all will be ok one the clock rolls around. FAQS are great... BOINC Messages and Problem Resolution Before continuing your quest: I.Is the System Date and Time set Correctly on the problem device? it's not the box that needed kicking, it's me (or someone else living here. /insert "facepalm" emoticon here ![]() |
