Re: [FAILED ON HOLD] Super Megaflush Trial

Wish I had seen this thread earlier!
Hypernova, what you could have done was, stay offline, change to HCC, Increase you system caches to the max, then do an update, one system at a time! Open Boinc Transfers, suspend the uploading tasks, continued to download new HCC tasks until you have a reasonable amount, or all. Then just allow the update, run the HCC tasks you get and when they finished, in about 2h or less, you would have been able to download new tasks and would have experienced no outage!
Oh well, better luck next time (should you ever decide to try such a crazy/fun trick again).

Re: [FAILED ON HOLD] Super Megaflush Trial

I to have ignored HPF-2 for months but now going full speed on it with its end so close. This time no errors so far but time will tell. May also upgrade my BOINC version but if it aint broken don't fix it! We will see, sorry so many errors Hypernova but you recently ran me over so fast I didn't even see you coming! LOL!

Re: [FAILED ON HOLD] Super Megaflush Trial

My duo rarely had HPF2 errors and so far the Linux OS on quad has been running anything thrown at it with 100% validation (never had the HPF2 issue anyhow).
