Someone, somewhere on here is always miffed for some reason, major or minor - whether they should be or not!!!!!! Good really, as it makes the world go round and is a sustainable source of constant amusement...... This is funny too, http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...29084_lastpage,yes#280543 |

Is this project finished or there are still some work units left.

lucidtechgrid, I believe that all the current WU's have been distributed (there may be a few resends though) - although in a couple of months, there should be some more on the way...

Thanks Hypernova - made even more annoying as I know that I can crunch 16/17 days per calender day, so I would have only needed just over a another 10 days on the project to bring it up to the 2 years - the same thing happened on Rice too!!! At least there is a chance of some more units with HFCC in a couple of months or so, Rice was a 'top killed well' - nothing else came out!!!

Another batch of units will be great - as I'm about 100 days short of sapphire at the moment and that will help plug the gap and get more WU's crunched for the researchers - all contented!! The new WUs will really be great as I have 1 yr 240 days and I project I will be able to get to ...252 days and not much more. 13 days short of 2 years would be unfortunate for me. I am glad the scientists determined they have 2 new targets they need to include. |

It means someone's miffed, and yes there will be some more tasks in a couple of months. So you will need to keep HFCC ticked and keep an eye on the HFCC thread for new task announcements. Although there might be plenty of tasks, they will probably be gobbled up quite quickly by people in your own situation; looking to get a badge. It might be a bit similar to trying to get Beta or DDDT2 Work! I have reached my 5year milestone for HFCC, so I will not be trying to grab a years supply all at once, not that I would for any project. I'll be checking here regularly, that's for sure. Def will be keeping HFCC checked too! ![]() I've read the start of the thread (I actually hadn't) and now thoroughly understand where HFCC is at. I think shooting for Gold is possible if I really put the head down and the bum up! ![]() |

Go for it Tom,
It's at least worth a try. Good luck, |

Since all the work seems to be done for now, shouldn't the project be tagged "intermittent" until the new work arrives?
