Plz see posts by Dotch, even a hotlink in the FAQ index was inserted some weeks ago.
----------------------------------------Done it myself running off a memory stick and will do again soon so the HD can be put to sleep.

The FAQ describtion is not 100 % correct. Dotsch/UX is a distribution which also possible to install on a USB stick, a harddisk and also setup a diskless server and diskless clients over a network.
