We look to be doing great! Judson, I take you mean in the MOT team challenges. Yes, we are. I think we're attracting more teams to them too so it's hopefully some more visibility for us. As more teams join them, we may drop down some but that's quite all right! ![]() |

Welcome back, captain. Hope you had a nice vacation. The recent heat here finally killed my Pentium D system that had been on its last legs for several months now (several problems with the MoBo). The CFO (Chief Female Officer, aka my charming wife) would not let me go whole hog on a new system, so the replacement is just a dual core. Since the processor is faster (throughput not GHz) and has two real cores instead of 1 HT, you'd think I'd get 2x-3x the amount of points. However, the old Pentium D was on 24/7 because it was difficult to start and the new system is only on about 12 hrs a day, so it's closer to 1.5x. I'll have to see if it can handle 100% CPU on the hot days. Every little bit helps. - D Exhausting but fun. Humidity was terrible but the Disney folks aren't stupid. Many of their rides and attractions are actually indoors with A/C. Still, I haven't sweated so much in years. Funny part was how my seven year old daughter explained in such a grown-up manner before we left how she knew that the various characters were just people in costumes but still squealed and jumped up and down in excitement each time she met one. Congrats on the C2D machine. I think you'll find that it runs noticably cooler than the Pentium D so you may well be able to run it 24x7, at least for now until the really bad heat hits. "Every little bit helps" - no question about that!! Thanks for taking the risk with your CFO!! ![]() |

Just noticed that RT needs right at 1800 more results to reach 100,000 results! That should take no more than a month, probably less!
