You need to stick to the proper naming as a connecting problems can be multiple to an attach problem. Back to that and the project selection screen... is there a URL field?
----------------------------------------Think with no work, you could uninstall, delete the data directory content [path in your log list] and then reinstall. As for BOINC screensavers not working... the difference is often having done a service install. Reading the 6.10.43 installer screens does warn for what you might not get, but when doing service PLUS Allow all users, that should work. It does here. For some screenshots on selections see the latest added topic to the Start Here forum.

Have uninstalled deleeted BOINC folder then downloaded and reinstalled from ISSI V5.10.45 mesage log says
29/04/2010 16:10:16||A new version of BOINC (6.10.43) is available for your computer 29/04/2010 16:10:16||Visit http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php to get it. which is what I did and then it wouldn't connect so I'm staying at htis version so long as my computed data gets uploaded. For those who scratched their heads, like me, oogled to find what in space ISSI was: IBM Standard Software Installer. Do we have access to that?

GB047300, I think you'll find (unless you change it in some way), that the version you've downloaded from ISSI (yes, Sek - your Google was successful - IBM Standard Software Installer), connects to the account 'IBM'. Hence, the reason why you don't seem to have had any updates since the line "Last Result Returned (UTC) 01/03/09 17:16:00".
----------------------------------------Perhaps what you could do (if you haven't already been successful in connecting your BOINC session to your own account), is to download it from the main WCG site, install it and set it up with your own account info. ![]() |

Hi again,
You will need to completely remove your initial member installation information or else your computer will continue to contribute under member name IBM. I will send you additional information in an email this morning. Tedi |
