Re: WCG Software

Hit control-shift-esc keys simultaneous to open taskmanager. Then go to the process view. You should see at least boinc.exe and several processes that start with the WCG initials.

NB: Possibly you have to a user with admin rights as the service runs in protected mode.

Re: WCG Software

Hello Gary Mills,
I will assume that you are running Windows OS. Move your cursor down to the bottom line. 2 possibilities. 1) move to the extreme right and hover the cursor over the WCG icon. It will tell you the percentage of the work unit that it estimates is completed. If you do not see the WCG chevron, click on the << arrow to see all the programs running, including WCG. 2) right-click on your mouse at the bottom of the screen. Then select Task Manager from the popup menu. Then scroll through it looking for an application program with wcg in the title. It should show you the percentage of time the CPU is devoting to running that application.
