Re: windows 7

I have been running WCG projects using BOINC 6.2.28 on Win 7 64 Ultimate, 32 Pro and 64 Pro on a number of Intel multi-core processors without a problem since the Win 7 RC release. Go for it biggrin

Re: windows 7

Hello

I'm from France, I have Windows Seven Home 32bits, and Boinc 6.2.28 doesn't start automatically with my computer.

So, i open the boinc folder, and i click on boinc.exe application ( a kind of terminal appear) and then i click on Boincmgr (for a graphic manager), but i don't know if the application is really running ! it seems to be !!!

How to make all the Boinc program running automatically starting my computer ? i don't see the option !

Sorry for bad english.

Re: windows 7

Hi jumpcom,

Propose to first uninstall and reinstall BOINC, so that the setting are correct. That will make sure that the core client [boinc.exe] will always be loaded before anyone signs in. Select the "Allow all users" box. After the install has completed the WCG icon of the BOINC Manager should appear in the system tray area of the start bar, bottom right. If not, let us know and we continue from there.
