Read Only and Unanswered Threads

I dont think the Read Only admin announcement threads should appear under Unanswered Threads.
- Perhaps it would make more sense to have these under a seperate category such as Admin Announcement Threads biggrin

Yes, I´m missing for it having a group forum filter such as Research, Support, Community, similar to what can be done in regular searches. In essence though it spits out the forum with the post and the date which for those providing support on a regular basis makes it just a know slight inconvenience given theyŕe date sorted... some posts in there never getting an answer anyhow :O)

Re: Read Only and Unanswered Threads

As for the threads that dont need/deserve/get an answer. Perhaps these could be marked for the trash by CA's and automatically deleted say after a week, if they dont get a response?
I think threads over 6months old should probably be deleted/archived, unless they contain something very important about the project.

Re: Read Only and Unanswered Threads

WCG kind of prides itself of having the full forum history live but that what can't stand the light. Certainly, when I'm digging for rare cases it's extremely convenient to find old support discussions... it would just be a full time job to filter what convenient to stay and what not.

CA's have a several 'backroom' threads where items for review are linked to... moved, dubious, spam etc. Then the admin looks in and actions. That takes care of any personal bias should that slip in.
