f.a.o. knreed: Does a client upgrade initiate a reliability re-check? [NO ;>]

It may be coincidence, but this morning upgraded to the alpha 6.10.48 from 6.10.45 alpha. The Zero Redundancy jobs since have passed to Inconclusive, to include a repair job that was received whilst still on 6.10.45 i.e. it ran half-half.

thanks

Re: f.a.o. knreed: Does a client upgrade initiate a reliability re-check?

Perhaps this information is helping:
A few days ago I upgraded from 6.10.45 to 6.10.48, too. No problems occured with crunching faah.

Thanks, well it seems a fairly rigid number of around 20% goes through the inconclusive cycle... must have been coincidence then... seeking confirmation from the chief BOINC server man.

Curious that a repair job was picked basically in that set 1 error, 1 inconclusive and a wingman who might briefly see Pending Validation... the validators seem to be on several longer daily breaks.

Changing the client has no impact on the reliability metric.
