Hello all !
I`m like many, devoted to give me computer power (12 cores) to "Help Conquer Cancer" I wish I could see the big picture and statistics like: How many pictures been analayezd so far from the "86 million". I wish also to know more details about the % of crystals findings and more details of what findings used so far from the current project. Also good example that support this idea*,using the new information. --- * "Protein X and Condition A resulted in a micro crystal, and Protein A and Condition Z resulted in a micro crystal as well. Based on this information, they can then run additional experiments to deduce what conditions need to be optimized to create a larger and more well-formed crystal." --- Direct links as answer would be welcome with big smile also . :-) Keep the good work ! Barak. |

The BIG picture on the processed work front from out end is here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,18662

I agree with Cruncher that there is no data on the progress of the project or its stage. The simplest one would be the percentage of the whole project left to do. The numbers are all out there and it would be easy for admins to put it together.
p.s. I personally devoting more of my time to the projects which have better feedback. |

Did you go to the top link I provided for a progress overview? Let me put it directly in here, so it can't be overlooked: ![]() That's why I crunch here about 98% of all the disposal time.

by my calculations, we need to crunch 84000000 WUs with 2 tasks per WU. 69000000 results are done, 99000000 remaining. With yesterday's speed of 193000 results/day it will take ~500 days to crunch. Assuming things will go faster, it may take 450 days or less

rilian,
----------------------------------------the progress percent for HCC is actually based on the quite exact number of tasks in quorum 2 plus an error percent. As many who frequent WCG know most projects do not have a defined number of work units or sizes. By the fact that many calculations are non-deterministic or e.g. have work segmentised in experiments, a number of researches just have a target end date, most percentages being an approximation, dynamically adjusted as and when new information becomes available. Anyway, I do the collations as a service, since with all these different projects and people it's not a sinecure to get what simontea condenses into "The numbers are all out there and it would be easy for admins to put it together." Laissez-Faire, Crunching On.

One minor nit on this chart: http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q210/Sekerob/WCGActiveProjectsGantt.png.
----------------------------------------The title for the bar for the project related to this forum is incorrect. Btw, I really do like the graphs you create. Thank you. |

Thoroughly puzzled... fixed this weeks ago for the same observation, but occasionally the version is reversed if something goes wrong. Reapplied :D

Sekerob and Rilian
Thank you for your inputs. The graphs at WCG Global link are very useful. Now I know where to go for the progress updates. All the best |
