Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

Can we get a server aborts for this ts06 c.pr units? I think I have sum up about 5-6 pages (and counting) with the same error including wingman.

I would also appreciate if this could be done... I'm receiving several replication jobs of this batch, which have already errored out several times. And I know, when they will run on my bots, the same also will happen... sad

Is anyone here, who had a valid WU from the ts06-xxx-pr batch???

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

See other thread. There was someone reporting zero error on 35 WU's http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...d,28748_offset,200#275572 but not explicitly identifying pr's, though I've had a pe fail with same error.

11,804 WU's validated yesterday on this little release for the various P's and S's.

Server abort?... suppose the techs will review when they come in on their Monday morning 08:00am office time. Stopping re-circulation requires scalpel, lest the validators/feeders for the project are stopped :D

Guess is that the bulk is done and those top catchers are now out of the reliability class, temporarily, to be considered for A-Type :p Got just 4 when I switched on the multi-project quad, so with 2 bombs it had no effect. Went from 0.1% to 0.109%, well below the 0.2% threshold. That's already been made up back the the lowest possible 0.1% since a dozen valid results have been returned afterwards.

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

This is probably well covered by now but this lot all errored on 0 seconds as well.

That's my 'reliable host' status gone for a day or three. :-)

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

Hi Sek,

I know, that most of the wu's from the last shower are OK. Until now, I have about 400 valid results, and another 100 in PV jail.

But all 35 jobs from this specific ts06_????_pr batch, which I had on my bots, did all error out within a second.

Let see what the techs will say, maybe Uplinger gives us an update (hopefully with the weather forcast for this week... biggrin )

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

MacDitch, if max reliable you need > 13 errors to get above 0.2% and any valid would lower that again. Obviously with a quad, there's little needed to get back to max-min... a dozen HCC is the quickest momentarily.

:-))

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

Thanks for the info, I have to admit to not fully understanding the system utilised here. My knowledge is: good wu's = reliable = Beta's when available. That's usually enough!! :)

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

Expand your knowledge... Beta's go to any device asking for work and enrolled in the program, of ALL classes. It just needs to have some in the feeder and that one being activated. The only thing stopping a specific beta job assignment is device specs.

See Start Here FAQ... there's a Reliablility matrix... how many are needed, how many will kick you at what % RR level.

Yeah, just found the matrix. Is there anyway to 'find out' the current rating or do I need to calculate it myself?

Interesting, I thought they only went to reliable machines. Something new learnt. smile

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

Just list out your RS pages with device filter, sorted on return date.

I use BOINCTasks as the RS pages remove tasks after a few days having been quorum complete [with exception of course to confirm the rule]. Once on 0.2% there's very little to know... knreed was talking about a server send message to the client if it's party time... if he's got time of course for such lower essentials. He seems to be booked out till 2025 :P. Basically, return as many valids as that there are errors keeps you on the same level. (seems at other projects the step-up goes twice as fast for errors, but it's grid specific)

Re: DDDT2 Type C -- Possible bad batches

Unfortunately I only have the record here of what I've done, but I'll assume a half dozen or so results will have me back at the 0.1 minimum.

Thanks for the assistance.
