Re: Finished Tasks Can't Be Uploaded

Hi Joe, Jean, and Ingleside,

Once I found problem again, I'll share with you all. (Try to check. But I don't see files or directory you mentioned.)

I use Win7 64 bits, Quad Core Intel, 8 GB, and normal ADSL router (ZyXEL) and everything with internet seems to be normal except the message from BOINC at the time I got stuck.

Re: Finished Tasks Can't Be Uploaded

wasu,

most of these out of nowhere upload issues can often be resolved by booting the affected devices and the central router [see post Lawrence above]. Nowadays it's latter I do first with everything on W7, it's 99 out of 100 times things start running again.

For more steps to walk through, there's a topic created in the Start Here forum.

Re: Finished Tasks Can't Be Uploaded

Hi,

First an apology for not getting back sooner.

As far as I can tell, it is not a firewall issue, AVG reports no blocked activity to worldcommunitygrid, and boinc is cleared for transmission/reception.

In desperation, I uninstalled boinc, rebooted, reinstalled boinc. Guess what? All working normally. Good, but what caused the problem?

Anyway thanks for the help
Joe
