Right, all batches have been distributed and there will be new WUs to download only from time to time for reaching the target number of seeds for each job.

Please join this thread for following up on the last days of this project:

Re: out of work/ any new project news

There will be a few tasks returned - aborted by users that have reached their badge targets.

I thought this wouldn't be the case for this project?

Re: out of work/ any new project news

Moonian,

That WAS the purpose of the End Game thread... to prevent the aborting. If the 120,000 seeds for a NRW WU group simulation have been reached or are anticipated to be reached with not yet reported work those aborts will not be resend, so is my understanding. They are then redundant.

If there are child results generated, anticipate them to have normal 10 day deadline. Those getting actual repairs will see them show in their client with a 4 day deadline. We might hear a few reporting in to have caught any of these latter or former :D

For those who missed it, WCG techs anticipate not to see the last result validating until mid April, or as uplinger wrote, proximately 3 weeks after last batch sent.

The returned results validated dropped Monday acutely from 57,300 to 22,700. The progress % in chart below has now reached 99.99% and will stay there till EOP declaration... not showing the 5th decimal :D

As is interesting to see when a project is ending or has a supply interruption, the credit per hour is dropping (top curve). A sign the not so fast devices are starting to form the bulk of the validated day results.

Re: out of work/ any new project news

So, does that mean that any tasks still in progress can be aborted, as they are of little or no benefit to the project?!?

Re: out of work/ any new project news

No the 120,000 seeds for a NRW WU group simulation has to be calculated.
