Yes for points/credit, yes for results, yes for run time.

Hey Uplinger, great job as allways...!!! As well the status "intermediate", as also the quick repair of the Result Status Page. smile

Can you have a quick look at the weather radar? Can you see any information which allow a prediction for b- or c-type rain in the next days...??? blushing

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

There is a difference - RICE is Complete, DDDT1, CEP1 & FLU1 are still Intermittent (i.e., there is a faint possibilty that the scientists may find extra work (may be rework) that needs processing again).
I guess at this stage it is as likely they would run any such tasks inhouse - on ten quads. If they were releasing 10K more WUs then it would be CEP 2 or Flu 2 (sounds like a bad B-Movie). Unless they were doing blind experiments much of the stats could have been done as the project ran.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

skgiven, there could be additional compounds they wish to compare. But at this point we have not heard of any additional work. They were left there with the possibility of new work. When dddt phase 1 completed, they thought there might be an additional target to look at, which we ran 18 targets for the whole project so far. So it would have been a couple of weeks of work on the grid, ALOT more time than ten quads would run. CEP1 if my memory serves me correct will have more work based on the results of CEP2. (Again the conversation for that was months ago and the memory up top may be faulty :)

But since DDDT 1, FLU 1 and CEP 1 all use different science applications than their phase 2 counterparts. So in short, if they had more work, it would go under the phase 1 tag.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

How about "scattered sprinkles" for the weather term to describe the availibility of DDDT2 work. It can be upgraded as the hopper fills.

As for all the "good" errors, I would rather the client recognize this and exit normally (although prematurely) returning the "error" to the server in the results. If it is going to stay that way can all these known errors and the meaning/response for each be posted in the project FAQs? Explinations are scattered all over the DDDT2 forum in various threads. Very hard to make sense of everything said so far.

Cheers coffee

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

NixChix,

Unfortunately, the way the science application is set up, we are not able to change the way it catches the good errors. sometimes the application doesn't catch them and they will still show up as an error. hence the -107????????? windows error people have mentioned. The ?'s are because i don't know the number off the top of my head.

I do like your idea of attempting to put the errors into an FAQ and I will work on that next week (unless a CA or someone else wishes to create a first draft).

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Let it be someone else this time to draft the FAQ... the one who had the proposition maybe :O). Then a second/third pair of eyes can fill in and when honed, insert it into the SHFs.
