My advise remains the same ( posted by Viktors )
----------------------------------------Members may notice that their agent cannot return results or get new work units at this time. We are looking into the problem. No action is required on the part of members. The boinc agent will automatically recover when the problem on the servers is resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. If we have we'd tell you. And even if it's seemingly working again, that won't be confirmed until the system has stabilized. Many clients will be told to back off initially to prevent a DDOS type condition so please to not drum the update/retry buttons.

Meantime, the midday 12:00 UTC time has passed, my last result able to get in at 04:51 UTC, so anything after will appear in the nightly stats [when we anticipated for the systems to be fully functional again in receipt mode :o]. The noon stats will look slightly poor-ish (understatement)

Okay, swishing sweat from forehead the client that was to get it's 15 minutes net time managed to up/download.

We have restored service. The server that has the BOINC filesystem on it (which we share to the other servers via NFS) rebooted last night for reasons we need to determine.
