Of course I have this option checked.
Yesterday I suddenly found a DDDT2 unit - so the feature opted me in for the new project correctly  . |

----------------------------------------See that comment up top in the OP :D ... there's a highly resistant bug in this process somehow not catching all who did... there's the My Projects level, but if the device level has it unticked, that prevails until you make a change to the My Projects again.

Thanks Sek, I was aware there was a problem with the 'opt in', which was why I checked and then manually selected the new project.
