Hi!
Just wondering why the BOINC version on worldcommunitygrid.com is 6.2.28 when boinc.berkeley.edu is at version 6.10.18? I'm guessing the newest version is better, and if I remember correctly, 6.10.18 gives you the possibility to use both cpu and gpu for crunching. The WGC page should have a newer version of BOINC. |

Why?
----------------------------------------Simply, 6.10.18 was a shot from the hip, good for those doing GPU crunching, nothing useful for CPU crunchers, many bugs left to fix. Wait until WCG says it's ok... April earliest. We're already on 6.10.33 in the developers cycle and more fixes still being applied. For more on 6.10 follow other threads in the BOINC Agent support forum.
