sad J.D Salinger- Rest in Peace

The infamous author of The Catcher in The Rye died yesterday.
I would say that he will be missed in death, but he was missed in life as well, because of his reclusive nature.

He landed in Normandy on D-Day, and was present at the liberation of Belsen. He later told his daughter, "You never really get the smell of burning flesh out of your nose entirely, no matter how long you live."
