Remote BOINC question

Having racked up over 1 years CPU time on Windows a few years ago I thought it was time to now put my Linux box to work. I'm currently using Ubuntu 9.10 and have installed Boinc using apt-get. All is working fine and the crunching has begun. I also have a headless file server which I'd quite like to put to work as well. Its running the latest version of Ubuntu server with no GUI. Again, i installed the boinc-client package on the headless box. My question is can I connect my GUI boinc manager to the headless client? If so, how do I do it?

Re: Remote BOINC question

Hi,

It's child's play, once you know there's 2 files to create/configure that hold the password and the device names. For starters, here a link with all articles that touch on remote control http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Special:Search?search=remote&go=Go
