Is it possible to define the number of WU to be downloaded so as to have enough work available locally if the computer cannot access the network for some time.
----------------------------------------When continuously connected to the internet is it possible to set up BOINC so that the finished WU are immediately sent over to WCG. If yes how? Many thanks for your advice Hypernova ![]() |

1. Yes, via the local prefs Additional Buffer or via Web Device Manager > Device Profile > Custom setting the Cache. The web option is easiest as it would apply to all your devices associated with that profile.
----------------------------------------2. There's no rush to report tasks (clear Ready To Report). The Result Files are uploaded immediately, whenever there is a live connection.
