Along same line, I have a account I set up on another computer under different name and want to merge the two accounts. It would be easy but the computer that I want to merge into my main account is dead. Thus I can not pull up its Boinc manager to merge. Please help!

Judson, there is no way to merge accounts. If you repair your computer, you can disconnect your old account and reconnect to World Community Grid using your new account and continue from there.

The only virtual merge that might occur is that if the email addresses on both accounts are identical and the CPID (Member Cross Project ID) worked out the same, at some 3rd party statistics sites they would consolidate. Not at BOINCstats though as seemingly they ignore any additional lines once a CPID is found and indexed. FreeDC might. You'd have to visit there to find out.

(Let the name changes begin, so i can rise quickly in the rankings :P)
----------------------------------------No, don't worry, your credits/points will port here instantaneous and are linked to your email/Project CPID... you can in fact have a different name at each project and still have everything consolidate. What you do loose is your posts...somehow that does not get along. They'll start counting from 1 on your next post with the new you :D

Thanks Rob, I was curious about that ..post count doesn't concern me ...but credit given for what work I have done, does concern me ....Kinda getting tired of "Sport" , out grown him over the years we've been together
