i currently have 8 computers running (in the old days i had nearly 40 which i lost when we went to boinc since i didn't have access to them anymore to update them).
the ones i have left are everything from an old XP machine that i'm lucky to get 800 points a week from to a multicore vista machine that puts out 10,000 points a day.
i hate to say this out loud, but i think the real reason i am pushing to hire someone new at the office is to get another computer for crunching - i know, i'm sick

ouch, slow day. i think one of my computers must be off line. i probably can't fix it until sunday

at least sunday should be a big day

It was a good day to have that happen on...and picking that machine back up on the weekend will be good too. Yesterday was a very good day for us and we do tend to ease off on the weekends.

BTW, did you move across town this year?

actually it was last year, but yeah. we thought we would see how life looked on the other side of houston.

Not to mention that you're probably a bit farther away from the water - which is a good thing in hurricane season.....

Glad to help. It's good to hear from the OSOTP again. Interesting how we were strongly UK/EU focused in the earlier days and now the problem is the US being mostly the dominant one. Too many quiet folks. laughing
