Hi
----------------------------------------My usb network card will not behave under Windows XP. I think it gets confused cosI use it to send work from 2 or 3 different rigs. But other two run XP and Vista and they behave though it does sometimes take repeated attempts to get the thing recognised. Any other way I can upload/download? Could I throw the Boinc folder onto a usb stick and send work from that via an online rig? It's either that or root around, carry the rig downstairs and hook it up to router via wire. That would be quite a chore. [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Nov 30, 2009 5:53:23 PM] |

Fear it is lugging that rig to a working net point. Work has to be send back from the device it was received on.

The specific problem is the net card not getting an I.P address.
Stupid router my ISP uses......never had thistrouble with my old Netgear....could assign I.P address range etc. |
