Is this just like the units I get now or do i need to take detail notes on every work unit i get? I am not sure about
BOINC Device Profiles Device Profile Name Participate in Beta Testing Default * work * home * i am using a home computer which is also a work computer, does it matter what I pick? |

Hi,
----------------------------------------No need to take notes, the difference for Beta just being a specific extra choice to participate. Only when your results go bad does WCG appreciate a report on this forum in an existing test report thread or a new one. If your device is assigned to the "work" device profile, than in the beta selection page you obviously also need to select th "work" box. That's all. Then beta units will be sent when there is a test distribution right when your computer asks for work.
