Johns Hopkins University will send e-mails to at least 100,000 flu vaccine recipients to track how they're feeling, including the smaller complaints that wouldn't prompt a doctor visit. If anything seems connected, researchers can call to follow up with detailed questions.
This research will refute the myth that the flu shot gives you the flu or makes you sick. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/...9/27/AR2009092702913.html Take Care, Jim Slade |

I had heard, by word of mouth only, that the flu vaccine would transfer a small amount of the flu virus to build up your resistance. I never discussed this with any doctor. If that were true, I would be nervous about getting a flu shot since I am well up in years.
