Benchmark not detecting Dual processor

I added BOINC to a 2nd PC which is running with an AMD-64X2 processor which is detected on startup, but when the benchmarks are run only 1 CPU is detected so only 1 thread is being run.

My (older) PC is a P4-HT which also only registers as having 1 CPU, which is fine because at 1 time it registered as having 2 but really dragged trying to run 2 threads.

My question is there a setting that is set to override the CPU count .. I may have set something like this (a long time ago so I wouldn't remember how), bur regardless, I couldn't find a configuration to tell BOINC this newer PC has 2 CPU's

Re: Benchmark not detecting Dual processor

Bodhisattva, Countdown to Ecstacy ;>)

Very probably your % of Processors is set to less than 100% in the Website Device Profile or Local Prefs. Can't see latter as you have not posted all of the startup messages. Even a 99% setting will round down, so only 1 core is allowed.
