For some reason WCG doesn't list this Clean Energy on Boinc, even though I have CE-project chosen as an active project in WCG-settings. Why is this?
Yet for some reason I can manually attach this project to Boinc. |

Clean Energy is a subproject of WCG. You can only set which of the WCG subprojects you want to run from the WCG website. Go to the My Projects section on your My Grid page to see the list of subprojects you can check to participate in. That being said, CEP phase 1 is about done and we should see (hopefully soon) the first pass betas for phase 2.

I thought CEP was fully absorbed into WCG; is there a non-WCG URL?

It is. No separate URL ... I think this is just a misunderstanding about how WCG and it's subprojects are organized.

Actually there is a URL that should have been disabled... still not it seems. Originally CE as it was called then, was set up and never launched. The hosting got moved under WCG last year and got launched on Dec.5.

Hello:
Indeed, before joining WCG we had launched the website and even did some preliminary testings on simple programs, such as "hello world" and a screen saver that just painted the screen yellow (kindly provided by the SPY HILL Research website). However, later on we started the collaboration with WCG, and have worked with them ever since. Thanks to this, we now have a more complicated program running on the grid, as well as a very nice screen saver to complement it. The URL has now been disabled. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Just to clarify, all of our work units are run through WCG. Roberto Clean Energy Project |
