Re: Facebook application

I saw the notice about the new Facebook application. I immediately went about the business of establishing the link. I even found with no help the two codes that I needed, copied and pasted them in.

So, now I am hooked up.

I went to my Facebook page and I see nothing nor can I find anything as to how I can use or display anything from WCG.

So, I could use a little help.

Re: Facebook application

I keep seeing Nutritious Rice without a badge on the F App, even though I have a Ruby. It sometimes will reappear with a refresh. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Re: Facebook application

Facebook does something with caching images (they won't serve them directly from our servers). 'eventually' you should be able to see the image, but I do not know how long 'eventually' will be.

We originally had the CSS file for the facebook app as a seperate file, however Facebook's caching kept causing the css file to be empty so we had to change over to sending it as part of the page itself.

Are you able to see your other badges ok?

thanks,
Kevin

Re: Facebook application

Yeah the other images served up just fine, and after a refresh or so I got the Rice one as well.

Thanks for the quick response. :)

Re: Facebook application

When I got a new badge in FAAH, it never got published on my wall.
I have checked the application settings, and I allow posting on my wall. Is there anybody else that have noticed this?

And a second question.
Is this application still in development, or did that stop when it was released?

Re: Facebook application

Ken, we don't yet publish new badges to your wall. This is something we will add soon. (Just FYI it will be optional, so you don't have to have your badges published if you don't want)

So, I think that kind of answers your second question. :)
